Joshua 24: 14 & 15
King James Version (KJV) - "Now therefore fear the Lord, and serve him in sincerity and in truth: and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the flood, and in Egypt; and serve ye the Lord."
(15) "And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord."

Of course reading those verses, I want to serve the Lord. I really, really do. But what is sad is Joshua wanted the people to know for sure and to be serious when they said they were gonna serve the Lord. I mean Joshua asked the people like 3 times if they were serious and if so then to put away their idols before them. And the people did. After that, Joshua died and of course the next book in the Bible is Judges.
And if you're familiar with Judges the people sin, go into captivity, God sends a Judge to the people of Israel, the Judge gets them back on track, Israelites get out of Captivity & start doing right again. Until the Judge dies then they go back to sin and captivity & it's a vicious cycle.

I wonder if Joshua before-hand knew that something like that would happen when he'd die cause he questioned the people like 3 times on if they were serious about serving God. Seems like they were only serious about serving God when they had guidance or someone watching them.

I don't want to be like the Israelites. I want to be able to serve God when nobody is watching me. So that kinda convicted my heart. What if Joshua asked me, Are you serious about serving God, Holly? Sure I'd say yes! But I don't want to be so spiritual to where I am prideful and say, "Yeah I can do it. Oh yeah." blah blah
Because remember Peter? Peter walked with Jesus. Peter hung out with Jesus. And he told the Lord he'd never deny Him but he did 3 times within the same hour & day.
Anything can happen at our weakest moment. and the moment we purpose in our hearts like Daniel did, that we'll serve God, we are marked by the Devil and he'll try to trip us up. Of course we are marked when we're saved but the Devil knows he can't keep us from heaven cause once saved, always saved. But the Devil can hurt our testimony to where we can't be an effective Christian for God.

What I'm saying is the Devil is all good with that when we're not reading our Bible. The devil knows that when we're not in the word of God we're not being the right Christian and we aren't the effective christian either. So he doesn't care to where he won't be causing problems, etc. Cause just not talking to God daily is enough to one day add up and without keeping a clean conscious, I mean we could go to the world because of "just" not reading our Bible. It'll lead from one thing to the next... It's happened so many times before.
The Devil is okay with us when we're not in the Bible because we're already self-destructing by not reading God's word.

But see, the moment you start confessing sins, figuring out a accountability plan, and start taking steps to become more spiritual, Oh oh -the Devil will NOT be happy. And at that moment we all become targets again and the Devil will try to get us to miss days of doing our devotions, he'll try to cause problems between us, the Devil will try SO many things to trip us up and to get us to not serve the Lord.

So Here's the challenge God gave me. Don't be that person. Don't be that one that is left alone by the Devil. (Don't get me wrong. We don't want the devil ON YOUR BACK to tempt you but If he's not making the Christian life a little difficult then maybe we're not doing what we're suppose to. Cause if we were, the devil would be trying to trip us up, etc.)

See, if we're not having our devotions daily then the Devil won't have you have a bad attitude (Just an example) or he'll let you be okay, and you won't be like majorly tempted, whatever. But compared to you having your devotions, he'll be fighting you, he'll cause things in your life to get discouraged to where you don't want to have devotions or the Devil will try to get you to doubt God's goodness, and I mean it's just part of the process of the Devil not wanting us to do right so he'll make it hard. I really hope this made sense. Sometimes it IS hard but we need to be tougher than the Devil, Hang in there and with God's help, You can turn this world upside down for HIM. We can be on fire for Him to where our walk with God will help others want to walk with God too.

He's Coming Soon + Earthquake in Chile!

We know Jesus is coming back. We've heard it and we all remember when people said the world was gonna end and people were making jokes (and still are) about how they lived past the "end of the world".

However, The Bible gives us clues or signs of when we can tell we are in the last days.

There will be false prophets or teachers and those predicting the end of the world.

2, Peter. 2:1-3
King James Version (KJV) - {1} "...there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you,..."
{2} "And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of."
{3} And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you:"

Jesus did tell his Disciples how people were going to be making predictions and that we shouldn't listen to them because no man knows the date or hour! 

Matthew 24: 4, 11, & 24 
King James Version (KJV) - {4} "And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you."
{11}"And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many."
{24} "For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect."

Ultimately we just need to keep our eyes on the Lord and continue serving him and trying to get our families on board.

Scripture tells us also that in the last days there will also be Earthquakes, hurricanes, & disasters.

Matthew 24:7 
King James Version (KJV) - "For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places."

(Divers means different)

This brings me to the point where Yesterday, (April 1st 2014) there was a 8.2 Magnitude earthquake 59 miles away from Iquique, Chile. It had a depth of 12.5 miles, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
Six people were crushed to death or suffered fatal heart attacks. So horrible! People say that was a remarkably low toll for such a powerful shift in the Earth's crust.

About 500 people were killed when an 8.8-magnitude earthquake that struck Chile on February 27, 2010. That quake triggered a tsunami that toppled buildings, particularly in the Maule region along the coast.

Several 3.0+ Magnitude earthquakes have happened in California as well that I have read about just in the past month!

Another sign is that there will be blasphemers. (Cursing, swearing & using God's name in vain)

2, Timothy. 3:1 & 2
King James Version (KJV) - "This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come."
{2} "For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,"

We hear it all the time. In the stores, at work... And it's becoming more common to use curse words. And the Bible says in the end times it will be prevalent. I think it's become prevalent. Some people always use a dirty word in their sentences. And it seems like the world has gotten immune to it.

There will also be Increase of acceptance of homosexuality as it was in the days of Sodom. 

Luke. 17:28 - 30 
King James Version (KJV) - "Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded;"
{29} "But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all."
{30} "Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed."

We know Lot lived in Sodom and that the people all around him was for homosexuality and sins of such. We know that it is a sin. God clearly is against it. God says it is an abomination!

Leviticus. 18: 21-24
King James Version (KJV) - "Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination."
{23} "Neither shalt thou lie with any beast to defile thyself therewith: neither shall any woman stand before a beast to lie down thereto: it is confusion."
{24a} "Defile not ye yourselves in any of these things:..."

Leviticus. 20:13
King James Version (KJV) - "If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them."

Romans 1 also covers this!

Also Religious Hypocrisy is a sign of Christ's return- (People saying they are Christians but they don't live for Him or act like a Christian. The Word Christian means Christ like.)

2, Timothy. 3:5 
King James Version (KJV) - "Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away."

If you profess to be a Christian you shouldn't support dirty movies by watching them, You shouldn't support things that have blasphemy in it and You shouldn't take God's name in vain or curse. So many people say they are a Christian but they don't live it. They talk the talk but they don't walk the walk.

I'm not saying you are to be perfect but you are to strive for Godly perfection and have a walk with God and be close to Him. Especially if you claim to be a Christian. God isn't a nobody or a fictional character. He is real and gives you air to breathe and eyes to read this or ears to hear this. Don't say you're a Christian and then live ungodly and make a bad name for God Almighty. When you claim to be something, you are a representation of that. You don't want to be a hypocrite.

Another sign is that People will deny that God made the Heavens and that he judged the world in Noah's day with a Worldwide Flood. 

2, Peter. 3:3-6
King James Version (KJV) - "Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,"
{4} "And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation."
{5} "For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:"
{6} "Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:"

"The world is covered with water. Water does anticipate That's what nature says. Evaporates comes down. Evaporates comes down; always stays the same. So if theres a world wide flood, water should still be hanging around somewhere. Do you think that 70% of the earth covered in water is a good clue that there was a worldwide flood?" - Ray Comfort

When it comes to Noah and his ark 2 relevant questions arise.
How many animals did it carry & How large was the ark?

Notice this.

Genesis. 6:20
King James Version (KJV) - "Of fowls after their kind, and of cattle after their kind, of every creeping thing of the earth after his kind, two of every sort shall come unto thee, to keep them alive."

The definition of Kind is - A class or group of individual objects, people, animals, etc., of the same nature of character, or classified together because they have traits in common.

It's a hated word because that means that God didn't have to fit today's 6.5 million species to fit in the ark. It means Noah only needed 1 pair of canine from which would come all species of dogs, And one pair from the feline kind from which would come the domesticated car and the Tiger, etc. So now we're just talking thousands of animals instead of millions. And because these animals need not be fully grown, this becomes possible to "mankind". The size of the ark was a MASSIVE 3 level ship, the size of one and a half football fields.

Another argument skeptics bring up is that there is not enough water to cover the mountains. They forget that mountains were not the height they are now. And that the earth AND sky store trillions of tons of water. The Bible says that the flood waters came from both the sky and the earth.

Genesis. 7:11 
King James Version (KJV) - "...all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened."

          Men will be fearful of the future!

Luke 21:26
King James Version (KJV) - "Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken."

I think a lot of people are fearful of the future. I am fearful of the future and that the Lord will come back and that some people I know have not come to know Christ yet.

People will mock the 2nd coming of Christ saying that these signs have always been around is another clue.

2, Peter. 3:3 & 4

I mean people say it, yeah, yeah and it isn't a big deal to some anymore.

         
         There will be those people who ignore the warning of the Gospel.

When people don't take sin seriously or they think it's funny. And I see that going on. Don't you?

Matthew 24:37-39
King James Version (KJV) - "But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be."
{38} "For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,"
{39} "And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be."

We all see these things and if not all of them, at least one. So therefore, we are in the last days and the most important thing for you and I to do is to be sure that we are ready for Christ's return and that we are saved.

We all realize that we are in the last days and We need to be busy getting our friends and family ready for Christ's return and to keep Jesus our main Focus and not be worried. I hoped this gave you some insight and explained things to you clearly.

Your Perspective | Keepin' it Positive

How you see things determine how you'll act on a day-to-day basis.

If you have "Stinkin' Thinkin'", then you'll look at the negative in most situations. Oh we all know that if we look for negative we will find it. And we have those who say, "Well what if the negative is "Just Obvious"? Then train your brain to search for the Positive in all situations! It takes work and a LOT of effort cause our flesh (The Old Man, that old nature inside of us) is naturally bent to the negative. 

Ephesians 4:22-24 
King James Version (KJV) - "That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;
{23} And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;
{24} And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness."

You see how I bolded that phrase in verse 23 "be renewed in the spirit of your mind"? I think that it is important to have a positive mind-set cause it affects how you are! 

In my devotion book, I was reading this story and I think it'll go Perfectly with this blog-post. Here it is.

Two girls moved to a new city from two different towns. When they arrived at their new school, they were both curious about what the other kids were like in that school. The first girl asked the teacher about the other students, and the teacher asked her, "What kind of kids went to your old school?" The first girl said, "They were all rude, jealous, & mean." The teacher then told her that she would probably find the kids at this new school to be like the kids at her old school.
   Later, the second girl approached the teacher and asked the same question: "What are the kids like here at this school?" The teacher replied, "What were the kids like at your old school?" The girl said, "They were really, nice, fun, & friendly". The teacher said, "Well I'm sure that's what kind of kids you'll see here."


Do you see this? Beautiful eyes look for the best. Change your perspective on how you view people, situations, things, etc. This is something I think we could ALL work on (Myself included, yes!)

Pray and ask God to give you HIS point of view and expect to see some great people in the world around you.

To the People of the Church.

You are important! You are very important.

To the Usher, You have a big job! You are basically the face of the church. You are the first person the visitors see. 

To the Church-Cleaners, You are needed! Without you, God's house wouldn't be tidy!

To the Secretary, Without you, Pastor would be a lot busier than what he already is!

To the Nursery-workers, Without you, The services might have disruptions by those adorable, little ones! 

To the Sunday School teachers, Without you, The smaller children wouldn't have a foundation built on their level sort-of-speak, 

To the Members, Without you there would be no one for the preacher to preach to!

We ALL have our part in being members of the church. Never degrade yourself in thinking that you are not as significant as the other! We all need each other. We all have gifts in different areas that the Lord can use, if we let Him. 

1, Corinthians. 12:6
King James Version (KJV) - "And they're diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all"

The church needs every member to do his part!

1, Corinthians. 12:14-27
King James Version (KJV) - "For the body is not one member, but many.

{15} If the foot shall say, Because I am not the hand, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?

{16} And if the ear shall say, Because I am not the eye, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?

{17} If the whole body were an eye, where were the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where were the smelling?

{18} But now hath God set the members every one of them in the body, as it hath pleased him.

God loves us all. We are very significant to Him and to His work.

{19} And if they were all one member, where were the body?

{20} But now are they many members, yet but one body.

{21} And the eye cannot say unto the hand, I have no need of thee: nor again the head to the feet, I have no need of you.

{22}  Nay, much more those members of the body, which seem to be more feeble, are necessary:

All of us are needed.

{23} And those members of the body, which we think to be less honourable, upon these we bestow more abundant honour; and our uncomely parts have more abundant comeliness.

{24} For our comely parts have no need: but God hath tempered the body together, having given more abundant honour to that part which lacked.

{25} That there should be no schism in the body; but that the members should have the same care one for another.

There shouldn't be gossiping, anger, or hatred in the church! We all need each other. The Lord hates discord. ESPECIALLY by the brethren...

{26} And whether one member suffer, all the members suffer with it; or one member be honoured, all the members rejoice with it.

Always be there for eachother especially during times of trial or test. But never try to decipher why one is having a hard time. Cause You do NOT know. Never assume anything. Do not assume that there could be sin in their life... Look at Job. Was there sin in his life? No. And yet look at all the trials / tests he went through!

{27} Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.

Through reading these verses we see that we are all needed in God's work in the church. Never think otherwise.

Never get discouraged brethren. We're all needed for the Master's use! 

2, Timothy. 2:21

King James Version (KJV) - "If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work.

May God Bless you Siblings in Christ! Continue Serving Him! If that is your calling to be in the ministry, you won't be happier doing anything else!

Have you been "Christian Cursing"? We all have and sometimes,

Not even knowing it! We need to try to speak in a "Christ-Like" manner. We are Christians. Read on for the much-needed info. 

Matthew. 12:36 & 37 

King James Version (KJV) - "But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. {37} For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned." 

Titus. 2:7 & 8 

King James Version (KJV) - " In all things shewing thyself a pattern of good works: in doctrine shewing uncorruptness, gravity, sincerity," {8} Sound speech, that cannot be condemned; that he that is of the contrary part may be ashamed, having no evil thing to say of you."

According, to the scriptures typed out above, as Christians, (Which  means Christ-Like) We need to be very careful with our mouths because we will one day give an account to God. Most Christians are aware of the fact that God expects them to live holy lives. Likewise, most God-fearing Christians have learned to abstain from swearing and from the use of common profanity. I haven't met many faithful Christians who have a problem with worldly cursing. However, I have met MANY Christians who have stumbled into the Devil's trap and taken up a whole different kind of cursing. Keep reading, friend, because you just might need to "tune up" your vocabulary! Are You Taking God's Name in Vain? You say, "Oh my word. I wouldn't take God's name in vain!" You just did, though. John 1:1 says that "the Word" was GOD! John 1:1  King James Version (KJV) - "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." So It's like you were saying Oh My God. Which is using GOD's name in a slang way.  Satan tricked you, didn't he? We've all done it and we need to stay accountable and try not to do it anymore! "Oh my goodness!" you say. If you are saved then your "goodness" is none other than God Himself.  Psalm. 144:2  King James Version (KJV) - "My goodness, and my fortress; my high tower, and my deliverer; my shield, and he in whom I trust; who subdueth my people under me." The Bible says that All of Our goodness is as Filthy rags.  Isaiah 64:6 King James Version (KJV) - "But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags;..." You just took His name in vain again. We have no goodness of our own. Our lives are given by Christ. He is Good. We are not.  Romans. 3:23 King James Version (KJV) - "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;" Psalm. 39:5 King James Version (KJV) - "Behold, thou hast made my days as an handbreadth; and mine age is as nothing before thee: verily every man at his best state is altogether vanity. Selah." So "my goodness" is a reference to God! "Good grief. I had no idea!" That's actually "Christian Cursing" too... Jesus Christ was a man of sorrows and acquainted with GRIEF. Isaiah. 53:3 King James Version (KJV) - "He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not." His grief was "good" grief because He bore your sins and mine! We together need to show more reverence and respect for our Saviour, brethren and quit throwing God's word around too loosely. Once again, I'm still learning this and I have done some of my own "Christian Cursing" but now that I've learned these things, I want to share them with you too. Together we can learn and try to show more reverence towards God the Almighty.  You could say "For crying out loud! Can't I say anything?"  How about reading your Bible because that's slang as well... Matthew 27:46 King James Version (KJV) - "And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? May I ask, What's your logic in using such speech? Could it be that Satan is just having a good laugh at our ignorance and disrespect of God's word? We have to be careful with our words! "Well, geeeeeeee!"  Hmmmm, Did you say "G", as in "GOD"? You may not have known it, but that is using God's name in a slang manner too. You've probably also said "Gosh" or "Good Golly", You might also have said "Jeepers Creepers" when you really wanted to say "Jesus Christ" (JC!).  When I first realized that I was taking my Lord's name in vain often I was very sad and I have since then tried to work on it so I wouldn't continue saying "Idle Words" as the Bible calls it.... You might have played around with the letters "G" and "D" together. You said "dad gum", "dang gum", "dog gone" or "Dang gummit", when your flesh really wanted to say "God" and then follow with the word "damn". I was unaware of all these "New ways" of taking God's name in vain.. I mean Think about it, Christian... Is God pleased with this kind of speech? Those Four-Letter Words... You probably wouldn't think of using the word "damn" too loosely, but what about "darn" and "dang"? Do they not serve the same purpose? Is Satan not pleased to fill your mouth with such speech? "Why, heck!" -Look out, friend! God knows your heart, and he knows your flesh is using heck in a slang way instead of just saying "hell". Down south folks could say, "Ah, shoot!" This is nothing more than a cheap way of saying the four letter 'S' word... Again I ask, is God pleased with this sort of speech? Is this "sound speech, that cannot be condemned"? I think not. Be careful what you say. Think about what you say before you say it... You might find out that you were about to take God's name in vain. We ALL need to work on it.. No one is perfect. But we can try for perfection like how the Bible talks about. (Matthew. 5:48 KJV) Swear Not. Matthew. 5:34 King James Version (KJV) - "But I say unto you, Swear not at all; neither by heaven; for it is God's throne: Jesus said "swear not," yet God's people swear very often, and sadly, Sometimes we don't even realize we're doing it. Such expressions as "for Heaven's sake", or "for Pete's sake", and "Heavens to Betsy" are attempts to swear by Bible subjects, which shows disrespect toward God. God's word is PURE and HOLY. We should honor His words, not throw them around. We all need to work on this, friend.  Truth Is All the Authority You Need Why do people curse and swear? There's only one reason: Authority. People want to sound more forceful and authoritative when they speak, so they spice their speech up with all sorts of catchy little "powerful words". Sadly, such words often dishonor God, the Bible, and the Lord Jesus Christ. Friend, Truth is all the authority you need. Just speak the truth as it is revealed in God's word and you'll have no use for "Christian cursing". Remember this verse as you go about your day seeking to please the Savior.  Matthew. 12:36 King James Version (KJV) - "But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.

Saved or Lost?

blind? Convicted or converted? A sinner saved by grace or a sinner? 

That's the difference. We're ALL Sinners. Great sinners can be transformed into exceptional Christians when they turn their passionate appetites towards Christ. The difference between God's children and others in the world is that God's children asked Jesus to come into their heart, to save them from their sins and they believed that He would. After you get saved you are God's child. He adopts you into the Royal Family. 

John. 1:12
King James Version (KJV) - "But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:"

That verse is saying that if we receive Christ, and believe on Him to save us from our sins and we ask God for forgiveness then we are then a Child Of God.  

Romans. 8:16
King James Version (KJV) - "The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:"

We are not all children of God because not everyone has been saved.  Those who have gotten saved, ARE saved. Salvation isn't inherited. 

Matthew 7:21-23
King James Version (KJV) - "Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven."

God wants everyone to be saved, That's His will. But not everyone will accept Christ.

     So God's Children are sinners saved by Grace and the rest of the world are sinners. We still sin after we're saved because being saved doesn't mean that you're all of a sudden perfect, we still have to "Fight the Flesh" and stay away from sin the best we can!
Christians have to.....

1, Peter. 5:8 

King James Version (KJV) - "Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:"

I have explained how to get saved a couple times in this very blog post already but if you didn't catch it, here is how. 

It's simple.

Very Simple. 

God didn't make it hard. 

Romans 10:9

King James Version (KJV) "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved."

That simple. 

Just confess to God. He will hear you. ♥

I broke the verse up into 3 easy steps.

A - Admit you ARE a Sinner. (We ALL Are) 

Romans. 3:23

King James Version (KJV) - "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;"

B - Believe that Jesus died for YOU and that He was raised from the dead by God. 

Romans. 5:8 

King James Version (KJV) - "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."

Mark. 16:6

King James Version (KJV) - "And he saith unto them, Be not affrighted: Ye seek Jesus of Nazareth, which was crucified: he is risen; he is not here: behold the place where they laid him."

John. 3:16

King James Version (KJV) - "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

C - Confess your sins... Apologize for your sins. 

John. 1:9

King James Version (KJV) - "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

And God will save you. You will then be saved!! And you CAN know that you WILL go to heaven one day! 

John. 3:16

King James Version (KJV) - "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

Titus. 3:5

King James Version (KJV) - "Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;"

You CAN'T Get to Heaven by Good Works!!

Ephesians. 2:8 & 9

King James Version (KJV) - "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

{9}  Not of works, lest any man should boast."

God loves everyone! (John. 3:16) He wants you to go to Heaven one day to be with Him. He even died for your sins. You just have to accept Him. I hope you do. 

I got saved on August 24th 2006. 7 years ago today. I remember getting convicted and wanting to get converted!! I was in the basement of our home in Fargo, ND. And my Mom grabbed a KJV Bible and showed me the verses I typed out in this Blog Post. I remember I was sitting on a little blue stool. hehe 

She explained the verses to me as I explained them to you and I then I Admitted that I was a sinner, believed that Jesus died for me and that He rose again and then I confessed my sins and asked Jesus to come into my heart to save me. And He did!!! And I thank God for all His goodness, grace, love, and mercy He has bestowed upon me. ♥ 

I hope one day I'll see YOU up in Heaven.

  Trials are tough but God's Children weren't made to go through them alone! God is there for you. And He is right there beside you walking with you through this journey. God brings trials and tests into our lives for a variety of reasons. One of His purposes is so that we can experience His comfort in a powerful and amazing way. Instead of allowing our difficulties to draw us away from God, they should encourage us to run to Him, like a child running to his parent for love and reassurance. God put you on this earth for a reason and as my Mom has said,  Life itself is not perfect, and neither are you nor I: but, God is perfect! His way is perfect, and YOU are perfectly equipped with just the right talents to fullfill His perfect will for YOUR life.  No one else can do so quite like you can.  No one else can fill His plan for you like you can.  Only you can do what He has for you to do.  It is so important for you to realize that and to fully comprehend just how imperative it is for you to do so. Don't let circumstances determine for you whether or not you will do right and trust in the Almighty. Accept each day just as it comes to you; Do not waste your time and energy wishing for a different set of circumstances. Instead, trust God enough to yield to His design and purposes for you and your life.  You are not alone today. Rest in the comfort and strength of God Almighty!

1, Thessalonians. 2:16 & 17 
King James Version (KJV) - "Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God, even our Father, which hath loved us, and hath given us everlasting consolation and good hope through grace, {17} Comfort your hearts, and stablish you in every good word and work.

Romans. 8:5 & 6 
King James Version (KJV) - "For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.

{6} For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace."

Choose to Trust God today. Don't try to live a life trusting God, Try to Live One minute trusting God fully; Then do the next minute, and then the next. No need to get over-whelmed.

King James Version (KJV) - "Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you."

Why do God's Saints fear...

...when we know that God is right there with us???

A lot of people give the illustration and point that when you're going through a hard trial & test God is right on the other side encouraging you to Keep going and to not give up.
Question. How can that be true since in God's word in Deuteronomy 31:6, He says that He will never leave you nor forsake you?

I love resting and knowing the fact that God never leaves me in a trial and He's right there carrying me through it.

Be strong Brother and Sister in Christ and rest in the assurance that God never will leave you or forsake you!

Deuteronomy 31:6

King James Version (KJV) - "Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lord thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee."
